Recent Activities
Christmas Social
At the December meeting, members tucked into mince pies at The White Hart in Iron Acton, and were treated to a talk by David Hardhill about Yate Heritage Centre.
Summer BBQ
The August meeting was a social BBQ for members and partners, held at The Swan, Nibley.
Information stand at Yate Library
Members of the Sodbury and Yate Business Association were on hand at Yate Library to tell other local business owners about the advantages of belonging to the SYBA and to hand out copies of the second Directory of SYBA Members.
Also there on the day was Rachel Lacey from South Gloucestershire Council who was able to offer free help and advice all morning to both businesses and members of the public on any health and safety topics.
Business Breakfast
The Association held a Business Breakfast at Rangeworthy Court Hotel, which included a training session on Social Media presented by Graham Bond. Look out for more Business Breakfasts in the pipeline...

Barnhill Development
Outline planning permission has been granted to the developers of the Barnhill Quarry site in Chipping Sodbury to create a Waitrose and new housing. Find out more on the Barnhill Development page.
