Everyone is welcome to our friendly services on Sundays, when our worship includes a variety of styles and music. We run a crèche, children and youth groups, all providing an exciting and fun environment. To find out more click below.
We run a variety of midweek activities that cater for different interests and age groups, where there is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that enables us to get to know one another better.
St James’s Church is Grade 2 listed and has a particularly fine 13th century turret and bellcote. The village of West Littleton and its church are not only a source of great pride to the villagers but also give much pleasure to visitors to the area who enjoy country walks along the well posted and maintained footpaths.
A project to conserve the memorials and tombs has been linked to an initiative to provide access to the heritage through an archival and historical display in the church, through a dedicated website and through links to local schools and groups.
The Catholic Parish of St. Lawrence and St. Paul covers a large area of South Gloucestershire, including Chipping Sodbury where we have the church of St. Lawrence, and Yate, where we have the church of St. Paul in Sundridge Park. Mass at St Lawrence is at 9am on Sundays. We look forward to meeting you at one of our venues.

Members of churches in Chipping Sodbury and Yate are preparing to take on the role of Street Pastors in order to care for others, especially young people, who find themselves in need of help in the town centre late at night. There are currently 18 street pastors in training, who will form teams of 4. One team will then be out on Chipping Sodbury High Street, initially every Friday evening. They have come together seeking to serve the community, with the intention to Care, Listen and Help. For more information click below.
