Chipping Sodbury Clock Tower
An all day celebration of local food and drink in Chipping Sodbury, home to Tom and Henry Herbert, ‘The Fabulous Baker Brothers’.
The Chamber, who run Chipping Sodbury’s Farmers Market, view the food festival as an ideal opportunity to further promote local food producers and to increase footfall to the town.
The Summer event features an extended market that includes; cookery demos from local cook Ann Murray of Cooking4; a succulent pig roast prepared by the Cotswold Celebration Company; and a delicious hot food selection from Sodbury Lamb.
Food and drink tastings will give shoppers, visitors and residents the opportunity to enjoy local produce in some of the towns shops and public houses, these include: a barbecue tasting at the Madd Sandwich Company; a deli tasting with olives, local cheeses, chutneys and jellies at Hamptons Deli; a beer tasting from two local breweries at the Squire Inn; date slices tasting with a free recipe at The Health Shop; a home made food tasting...
