Yate Leisure Centre - Official Opening
Following a 6 month refurbishment, Yate Leisure Centre has been officially re-opened by Jon Edwards, Chair of the Leisure Trust and Councillor Brian Freeguard, Chair of
South Gloucestershire Council.
The transformation was designed and built by Createability whilst the project was jointly managed and funded by partners South Gloucestershire Leisure and South Gloucestershire Council.
Since the refurbishment Yate Leisure Centre has also undergone an assessment as part of the Quest Scheme and achieved 76%. This means it is now regarded one of the top leisure centres in the country.
Roland Sims Leisure Operations Manager for Yate Leisure Centre said “We are delighted with the outcome of the project and are pleased to offer this excellent standard of facilities to the local community.”
