Against competition from 200 or so permanent Community Radio stations as well as small RSL stations, GLOSS FM's election advert has won first prize of a portable digital recorder from the Community Radio Toolkit.
The judges said: “GLOSS FM submitted two pieces of quality audio but the clear winner was one entitled ‘Greek’. Our judge liked the wordplay between the two characters which brought humour to the importance of voting and highlighted the “witty script, good acting and high production values…also doesn’t bash you about the head with ‘the politics’”.
