Sodbury in Bloom Vegetable Competition
Entries can be brought in between 10am and 12.30pm with Judging at 12.45pm, Watkins Room, Old Grammar School, Chipping Sodbury

It's time to raid your vegetable patch for prime specimens - Sodbury in Bloom is organising a Vegetable Competition as part of the Chipping Sodbury Food Festival.

The categories are:

• Best trio of carrots
  
• Best trio of potatoes
  
• Best beans (any member of the bean family)
  
• Juiciest handful of blackberries (grown or foraged)
  
• Best trio of apples
  
• Most fantastical vegetable mistake
  
• Bunch of herbs
  
• Display of veg grown in Sodbury parish
  
• Jam jar of flowers
  
• Best vegetable MONSTER (under 5s)
  
• Best vegetable MONSTER (Junior school ages)
  

Produce must be home grown (apart from Blackberries and monsters). Monsters must be 90% vegetable - any veg will do.
