Moving to Yate & Sodbury
20th of May to 10th of July (Tue-Thu & Sat), 10.30am-4.30pm, Yate and District Heritage Centre, Church Road, Yate, BS37 5BG

This is an exhibition on the history of people migrating to the Yate & Sodbury areas. The exhibition looks at everything from the Romans to modern day Polish migrants.

There are all sorts of stories and histories notably the experiences of former refugees and the wives of former POWs who married in Yate.

We also look at the recent history of people coming in the last 10 years gained from a range of sources including students from Brimsham Green School.
