Hawk and Owl Trust South Gloucestershire Group
We have a very active nestbox team carrying out site and habitat surveys, nestbox manufacture, installation and monitoring. We have nearly 200 nestboxes in our area.
The South Glos group attends numerous school fetes, open days and conservation events through the year to help promote the work of the Trust and to encourage new membership.

Avon Wildlife Trust Wapley Bushes Workday
10am, Meet at the Shire Way entrance to the woodland, South Yate

As part of our commitment to biodiversity and habitat improvement, we are going to plant a new hedgerow at the the edge of the Centenary Plantation which will provide food and shelter for wildlife. As our planting day is also Mothering Sunday, we would very much welcome family groups and individual helpers on this day to come along and plant the hedgerow with us. Please wear stout footwear.
