Lady’s Wood Shooting School
An exciting new challenge competition, launched by Lady's Wood Shooting School to test the skills of clay shooters of all abilities, completes its qualifying rounds this month with a top prize worth £1000 to be won in an August "shoot off".
Lady's Wood Shooting School, based near Chipping Sodbury launched the Lady's Wood Challenge in June and competitors have until July 21 to take part and use their skill, patience and accuracy to shoot at a range of clays, simulating moving game, pigeons and wildfowl.
Top scorers across the qualifying period will be invited back for a 'Super Final' on August 4 and the overall top scorer will win a shooting experience worth £1000, with other prizes to be won for second and third place, Ladies High Gun winner and Junior High Gun winner.
The challenge, which takes place within Lady's Wood Shooting School's 55 acres of natural woodland at the foot of the Cotswolds Hills, runs Tuesday – Friday (pre-booking required) and costs £55 per entry.
Lady's Wood Shooting School, shortlisted as one of the UK's Best Shooting Grounds in the 2017 Shooting Industry Awards, has been teaching people to shoot since the 1980's, and offers expert tuition and thrilling simulated game shooting opportunities, for novices through to the most experienced shot.
