Sodbury Players present: 'Pygmalion', by Bernard Shaw
19th/20th/21st/22nd May 2010, 7.30pm, Town Hall, Broad Street, Chipping Sodbury

Our Spring Production is the well-known play Pygmalion by Bernard Shaw and is being directed by talented Diane Owen.

Pygmalion both delighted and scandalised its first audiences in 1914. The phoneticist Henry Higgins is the Pygmalion figure who believes he can transform Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl, into a duchess at ease in polite society. The one thing he overlooks is that his ‘creation’ has a mind of her own.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on 1st March 2010. Tickets are £7 adults, £6 children/concessions from our Box Office 0845 1260859.
